What we do
Dovre Sertifisering AS is designated to carry out conformity assessment according to PED – Pressure Equipment Directive (2014/68/EU) according to NS-EN ISO/IEC 17065:2012 . Dovre Sertifisering AS is accredited to inspect, test and certify PED products for the European market for:
- Module A2: Internal production control plus supervised pressure equipment checks at random intervals.
- Module B: EU-type examination - production type - design type.
- Module F: Conformity to type based on pressure equipment verification.
- Module G: Conformity based on unit verification.
- Module C2: Conformity to type based on internal production control plus supervised pressure equipment checks at random intervals.
- Module D: Conformity to type based on quality assurance of the production process.
- Module D1: Quality assurance of the production process.
- Module E: Conformity to type based on pressure equipment quality assurance.
- Module E1: Quality assurance of final pressure equipment inspection and testing.
- Module H: Conformity based on full quality assurance.

Pressure Equipment Directive (PED)
The Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) became a requirement in 2002 as the pressure equipment regulation 97/23/EC. The regulation was updated to 2014/68/EU and implemented in 2016. The requirements are part of the European regulations on CE marking.
The regulation applies to new pressurized equipment from design to commissioning and thus many actors are involved in the process for approval such as:
- Anyone who performs design and calculation
- Manufacturers such as workshops, production facilities
- Owners and users where the equipment is to be placed
- Importers, dealers and suppliers who supply equipment from other countries
